My Night Skin Care Tips

The best time of the day to cleanse your face, leave products or let your face breathe is at night.

Here I am going to list some tips I recommend for anyone looking for daily night skin care tips:

CleanseThis is a given, but sometimes it is easy to simply fall into bed without taking the time to clear away the dirt and grime of the day. For those with oily skin, use a cleanser with salicylic or glycolic acid.

Remove all makeup: You have to remove all makeup before going to sleep at night because leaving the makeup can cause you acne and/or irritation.

Apply a soothing face mask: To help your skincare products sink in more efficiently.

Exfoliate: You should exfoliate only two or three times a week; more often can dry your skin.

Use a toner: Use a toner that is specifically made for your skin type. For example, those with dry or normal skin shouldn’t use toners that contain alcohol or it can irritate or dry your skin.

Moisturize: Moisturizing your face should always come after a cleansing. When you wash your face, you wash away essential oils and moisturizing your skin helps replenish it. If you have oily skin, make sure you are using a moisturizer that is water based and meant for your skin type. Take an extra couple minutes and use a deep moisturizer on the extra dry areas of your body, such as elbows, knees, heels and hands and feet.

A good nights sleep: A good nights sleep will literally help your face refresh your face.
