Best at home remedies for skin breakouts

While pimples are not as simple as too much milk or sugar in your diet, both have a significant impact. Nutritional deficiencies as well as excesses can worsen acne.

1. Oatmeal

Oatmeal is beneficial in reducing acne because it cleanses your skin pores and absorbs any excess oil. Plus, it exfoliates your skin.

  • Mix one teaspoon of honey and the juice of half a lemon in a cup of cooked oatmeal.
  • Rub this mixture over your skin.
  • Leave it on for 30 minutes and then rinse with lukewarm water.
  • Do this once or twice a week.

2. Baking Soda

Baking soda works as a gentle exfoliant for your skin. It unplugs the pores and removes dead skin.
It also helps regulate the pH balance of the skin and has mild anti-inflammatory and antiseptic properties. All these characteristics make it an excellent home remedy for clearing acne.

  • Apply a paste of one or two teaspoons of baking soda and a little water. Rinse it off after a few minutes.
  • You can also mix together two tablespoons baking soda, one teaspoon cinnamon powder, the juice of half a lemon, and five tablespoons honey. Apply it on your face and wash after five minutes.

Use baking soda on your skin once or twice a week.

3. Lemon Juice

The acidic property of lemons can be very useful in treating acne. Lemon will clean out dirt that has accumulated in the pores and will harden the sebum. You can use it on your skin daily but if it is too drying then use it every two or three days.
  • Rub a slice of lemon on the affected area and leave it for a few hours before rinsing your face with water.
  • You can also mix lemon juice with rose water in equal amounts and use the solution to wash the affected area thoroughly.

Acne is a common skin problem that affects people of all ages. Teenagers suffer the most from acne because of the increased hormone levels in their body.
Sleep deprivation, too much stress, unhealthy eating habits and a hectic lifestyles can also cause acne. Acne can appear on the face, chest, back and scalp. Although there is no definitive cure, there are many simple and easy natural cures using common ingredients found in your pantry and refrigerator to prevent or minimize the problem.

Renew your lips with lip exfoliation

Renew your lips with lip exfoliation!
Liz Skincare in Miami Lip Exfoliation

Exfoliation is the best way renew your lips appearance by the removal of the dead skin. The result is conditioned, soft, skin. Great for change of seasons, brushing off white skin flakes and debris that you will find on your lips.

Getting technical cells reproduce only in the primary layer of the epidermis or the outer visible layer that we see. When cells mature, they rise through the inner layer to the outer layer and produce a protein called keratin, which hardens the lining of the mouth and makes it safe from cold and heat elements. The skin on the lips is much thinner and therefore more prone to the cold or the heat. The damaging effects of these elements can make your lips rough, sore and cracked. That is why we need to use lip exfoliator products to rid our lips of old skin cells.

One of my favorite recipes you can do at home. Steps on how to make your scrub at home:

-A tablespoon of Brown sugar or white sugar
-A dash of olive oil or coconut oil  (just enough to make the sugar really stick together)
-A small container

Directions:

Mix a tablespoon of brown sugar with just enough honey (or olive oil) to get it to stick together. Once a week (twice at the very max) rub the scrub onto your lips, vigorously enough to loosen the dead skin. Let it sit for 1 minute, and then wipe off with a damp washcloth. Apply lip balm after use.
Again, don’t overuse this, but it is a great tool when it comes to dealing with chapped, peeling, lips. If you like you can combine the brown and white sugar, but either will do the trick. If you would rather avoid the sticky honey, you can substitute with olive oil or coconut oil.

That is all you need to make your scrubs with ingredients straight from your kitchen and the simplest directions you can get.
Renew your lips with lip exfoliation.
Hope you all enjoy your new beautiful, hydrated lips!!!.

If after a few times of trying the recipe and still not happy it may just mean that you need aggressive treatments like a chemical peel, but must be done by a licensed professional. The chemical peels consist of glycolic acid with tri-chloro acetic acid which help to remove the superficial layers from the top of the skin and thus the dark spots get worn out.. So go ahead and try it out.. if not content seek a professional chemical peel. This is one of my favorite treatments because I love to record the progress being made and seeing clients happy.
